On the 19th of October 2013 three local fire departments – fire department Kladno, Velvary and Mělník visited the PV plant Vepřek. The main aim of this training was to consult and verify the proper procedure of putting out fire on the site of PV plant.
The firemen were acquainted with the technical details and technical connections of the PV Plant so in case of fire they would be able to prevent themselves from getting into a contact with electricity and possibly getting injured. Decci servis s.r.o. provided the fire departments with the “manual of intervention” which will enable the commanding officer to quickly orientate himself and his team on the site of PV upfront, before getting to the potential fire on the site. This will substantially facilitate the intervention of firemen on the site.
Similar trainings will occur regularly, but we hope that these encounters will remain only as a prevention.
