On Wednesday February 1, 2012 meeting with South African ambassador, Madam Celia-Sandra Botha was held in the premises of South African Embassy.
Representatives of company Decci a.s., Mr Jarmil Seba, Chairman of the company and Mrs Darina Lukavska together with Mr Vilem Ruzicka, President of South African-Czech Chamber of Commerce took part in this meeting. Company Decci a.s. is the only Czech entity taking part in the five round government tender for construction renewable energy generators (sun, wind, water, bio-mass or bio-gas) in South Africa. The government tender runs under its official title “Independent Power Producer Procurement Program” or “IPP-PP”
Within this five round government tender, renewable energy generators of the total capacity of 3725MW should be installed by 2014. Company Decci a.s. is aiming for solar projects of the total installed output of 200MW.
Furthermore, Mr Jarmil Seba presented the Ambassador other solar projects and activities evolved by company Decci outside the official IPP-PP in South Africa. Company Decci a.s. managed to establish contacts with several local investors, universities and municipalities which are interested in solar generators.
